Job Description

  • Full Scope OR / ICU / Clinic, Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
  • ASAP
  • Schedule: M-F, days
  • On Call: OR emergent surgery call only, 1:3
  • Iowa

Qualifications

  • Must have 2-5 years of experience in cardiothoracic / cardiovascular surgery / CVICU
  • Must be able to function independently in all aspects of job
  • EVH (Maquet) and first assisting expertise
  • Bedside procedures and patient management experience required
  • Will also help with consultations, vascular surgery, and thoracic surgery as needed
  • Call pay in addition to annual salary

Full Time Benefits (while locums)

  • $95 – $125 / hour based on assignment type and related experience / case volume, full time salary set by client
  • Full benefits package (valued at up to $60/hour!) covers medical, dental, vision, prescription, short term disability, long term disability, life and ADD, 401K match, paid time off, CME funds, professional liability, workers comp, unemployment, credentialing and licensing fees, annual paid service week
