This assignment will take you a short drive from Ann Arbor and Lansing, MI – two bustling university towns – while still being able to enjoy the slower pace of a small metropolitan city.

Job Description

  • Full-Scope Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant/Associate
  • Anticipated start: Summer 2023, as soon as credentialed
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks with potential to extend
  • Schedule: 4 10hr shifts, rotating days/nights/weekends
  • On Call: surgical on-call, rotating 1:2 or 1:3
  • EMR: Epic
  • Southern Michigan

Qualifications

  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery / CVICU -OR- equivalent case volume
  • Required areas of proficiency: EVH, surgical first assist, peri-op care
  • Types of procedures: 100% inpatient care, CABG, Valve Repair/Replace, TAVR
  • Must be able to function independently in all aspects of job

Full Time Benefits

  • $80 – $130 / hour based on related experience/case volume
  • Full benefits package (valued at up to $60/hour!) covers medical, dental, vision, prescription, short term disability, long term disability, life and ADD, 401K match, paid time off, CME funds, professional liability, workers comp, unemployment, credentialing and licensing fees, annual paid service week
