Description

  • Board Certified Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon
  • Anticipated start: as soon as credentialed
  • Assignment length: 10+ months
  • Schedule: 24/7 call for the last 10-11 days every month
  • Call Coverage: cath lab, emergency surgeries, inpatient consults/surgeries
  • EMR: Cerner — ONE
  • $2500 – $4500 / day based on related experience/case volume
  • Michigan

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience -OR- equivalent case volume
  • Surgeon will carry a small patient panel of outpatients to follow and perform elective/emergent CTCVS surgeries
  • Patients per day: variable – 10 surgeries/month
  • OR, radiology, and lab are all onsite
  • Supported by 1-3 APPs for first assisting and vein harvest
  • Procedures/Skills: aneurysm repairs, thoracic surgery, peripheral, thoracoabdominal aneurysms, bypass surgery, radiofrequency ablation, chylous effusions, additional cardio and thoracic procedures
